During his childhood the vehicle of choice for his large Australian family was a VW bus. I think I knew this when I married him, but motorcycles were his main interest and at a time when the internet was only a spot on the horizon who even knew what a forum was let alone how many hours could be spent on one?
Fast forward a few years and we were in the grip of his latent VW obsession. We're now on our 8th van (aircooledcrazy.com documents them all) pictured here.
Sometimes I love them ( camping in the sun watching our boys play), sometimes I hate them (when we're on a low loader being recovered…again) but they are a huge part of our life.
